WHO WE ARE
Thank you for downloading Michael Angelo Maske / Datamobility Corporation / Datapacific Corporation studentUpp ("studentUpp", "we", "us"). We are currently based in Ortigas Centre, Quezon City, Philippines. This privacy policy has been prepared to provide information about our social mobile application and related services (“Services”) and to clarify how we gather, use, disclose, and protect your personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”), as well as your messaging data.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information You Give Us
studentUpp collects the Personal Information from you when you voluntarily provide such information, including the following: name, username, password, e-mail address, and phone number, uploaded images, student information, enrollment preference, schedule preference and other similar school related activities information that may be required from time to time. If you choose to "Find Parents, Find Students, Find Teachers or Find Schools," we will transmit your address book data to our servers to tell which of your friends use our Service and help you connect with them. Wherever studentUpp collects information from its users, we make an effort to provide a link to this Privacy Policy.
By voluntarily providing us with information, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide information to the Services, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of studentUpp and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States, the Philippines, and other countries that Datamobility Corporation, Datapacific Corporation, or Michael Angelo Maske may transact business with.
Other Information
Non-Identifiable Data. When you interact with studentUpp through the Services, we receive and store certain personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. studentUpp may store such information itself or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by studentUpp affiliates, agents or service providers. The Services may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, and the domain names of our visitors' Internet service providers. It is important to note that no Personal Data is available or used in this process. Additionally, we collect usage information and information about your device such as the model, manufacturer and OS version of device used, MAC (Media Access Control) address, device identifiers, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), and network status (WiFi, etc.).
Aggregated Personal Data. In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Services, Company often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Company may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Company may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
Information Automatically Collected Through our Mobile App
Additionally, we collect usage information and information about your device. This information allows us to understand how users access and utilize the mobile application. Once a user has downloaded and started using studentUpp, we automatically collect information such as the model, manufacturer and OS version of device used, MAC (Media Access Control) address, device identifiers, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), and time-stamped logs of messages sent and received including sender and recipient and data exchanges, and network status (WiFi, etc.). We use all of this information to investigate trends and to restructure and improve the studentUpp application. We also detect when users take actions relating to messages as further described below.

When you visit our website, some information is automatically collected, such as your computer's operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language, and the website you visited before our site are logged automatically.
Cookies. We may automatically collect information using "cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. Among other things, cookies help us improve our website and your experience. We use cookies to see which areas and features are popular and to count visits to our website.
Web Beacons. We may collect information using Web beacons. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used on our website. We use Web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness.
Message Data
When you send or receive messages using the Services, we temporarily process and store your images in order to provide our Services. Although we attempt to delete image data as soon as possible after the message is received and opened by the recipient (and after a certain period of time if they don't open the message), we cannot guarantee that the message contents will be deleted in every case. For example, users may take a picture of the message contents with another imaging device or capture a screenshot of the message contents on the device screen. Consequently, we are not able to guarantee that your messaging data will be deleted in all instances. Messages, therefore, are sent at the risk of the user. We also log information about messages, including time, date, and who sent and received the message.
USE
Our uses of Personal Data collected through our site and in our app include to:
operate and improve our Service (including the app, site and related services);
understand you and your preferences to enhance your experience and enjoyment using our Service (including the app, site and related services);
respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service;
send you related information, including confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
communicate with you about promotions, products and services offered by studentUpp and our selected partners (If we do so, each marketing communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to "opt-out" of receiving future marketing communications. In addition, if at any time you wish not to receive any future marketing communications or you wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please contact us as indicated below);
link or combine with other Personal Data we get from third parties, to help understand your needs and provide you with better service; and
protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
If studentUpp intends on using any information provided by its users in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to or at the time at which the Personal Data is collected.
SHARING
studentUpp allows you to connect with parents, fellow students, teachers, and school administrators. When you create a user name, we create a public profile with that user name where users can contact you. Please be mindful of your own privacy needs as you choose who to connect with and what to share. We cannot control the privacy or security of information you choose to share with others. If you share information about others, we suggest you get consent from them.
We will tell a the other party who sends you a message when you open a message and when we detect that you have captured a screenshot of an image they send you.
By using the Service you agree to let studentUpp collect information about your interactions with private groups of studentUpp users ("users"). For example, when you open a studentUpp or capture a screenshot of a studentUpp, we detect those interactions. You agree that we may share the fact that you took these actions with the sender of the studentUpp.
We may also share your Personal Data with third parties including as follows:
with your consent, for example, when you agree to our sharing your information with other third parties for their own marketing purposes subject to their separate privacy policies;
with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who work for us and need access to your information to do that work;
to: (a) satisfy any and all applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, policies, and the TOS, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of studentUpp, its users or any person as required or permitted by law;
in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company.
EXCLUSIONS
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data collected by Company other than Personal Data collected through the Services. This Privacy Policy shall not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to Company through the Services or through any other means. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Services, such as forums, any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and Company shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information to others without limitation or attribution.
CHILDREN
studentUpp does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data on the Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Data to studentUpp through the Services, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
LINKS TO OTHER WEB SITES
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. The Services may contain links to other web sites not operated or controlled by studentUpp (the “Third Party Sites”). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. The links from the Services do not imply that studentUpp endorses or has reviewed the Third Party Sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information on their privacy policies.
INTEGRATING SOCIAL NETWORKING SERVICES
One of the special features of the Service is that it allows you to enable or log in to the Services via various social networking services like Facebook or Twitter (“Social Networking Service(s)”). By directly integrating these services, we make your online experiences richer and more personalized. To take advantage of this feature, we will ask you to log into or grant us permission via the relevant Social Networking Service. When you add a Social Networking Services account to the Service or log into the Service using your Social Networking Services account, we will collect relevant information necessary to enable the Service to access that Social Networking Service and your data contained within that Social Networking Service. As part of such integration, the Social Networking Service will provide us with access to certain information that you have provided to the Social Networking Service, and we will use, store and disclose such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, please remember that the manner in which Social Networking Services use, store and disclose your information is governed by the policies of such third parties, and studentUpp shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any Social Networking Services that may be enabled within the Service.
You may also have the option of posting your Services activities to Social Networking Services when you access content through the Services (for example, you may post to Facebook that you performed an activity on the Service); you acknowledge that if you choose to use this feature, your friends, followers and subscribers on any Social Networking Services you have enabled will be able to view such activity.
DATA SECURITY
studentUpp takes reasonable steps to help protect your Personal Data in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. There are a number of risks in transmitting any kind of data over the public Internet and no company can prevent every risk. Under no circumstances should you use the Service to transmit confidential or privileged information of any sort.
